After spreading fertiliser last night on the farm i went for a wee ten mile ride into the Lammermuir hills 'behind' our farm.

Lots of Roe deer in the windfarm so they don't mind the noise!

Greayt pics, but how are you geting on with the TKC80's on tarmac?

I've used TKC80's since 2002 on my old 1150GSA but i used Metzeler Karoo T's on my HP2E and use the TKC80's always on my 1200GSA.......In the dry when you get used to them you can get right over and 'kill the elephants' in the wet to just take it a bit easier.

They're ideal for the roads around the farm and for a knobbly tyre stick like 'shit to a wooly blanket' maybe not so handy on a run across europe although i've ridden mine to the Nordkapp and back and they lasted around 4.5k on the rear!

More nice pics FP:thumb Your bike looks great:beerjug:

Thanks for posting, some brilliant roads there, looks cold. Working today, off out on bikes tomorrow. Can not wait.
Thanks for taking the time to post.:thumby:

FP: You've been enjoying yourself far too much over the last few day's. Has the cattle been released from the sheds?

No, cows are still a seven day job but the spring sowings finished and i've got good lights on my GS............Three 'wee' tours this week and all after 8pm!:thumb

Just did a nice wee 9 mile John Muir tour tonight!

Nice rideout F.P. could you get a map up with entry and exit points for this ride ?? I quite fancy heading over from Lanarkshire and giving it a wee go . :beerjug::beerjug:

I do like the lammermuir hills and used to bounce around on my sports bike but now I have a GS I think I will be there even more. I was out on Saturday and those fields are whiffy!

It's a wee C road between Harehead/Bothwell and Elmscleuch and i'd go late and 'low profile' if you're going into the windfarm if you know what i mean!:augie
