Windows messnger

I am a complete duffer at computers and have recently been asked am I on Windows messenger by a friend. Now as I say I am acomplet plonker at computers I can sentd e-mails find porn (somtimes) and this site but thats it. Now, I am on Tiscali and has so far been good, I have Windows messenger on the program list but it will not come up just the hour glass symbol. Can I get on the program? Normally I am on internet explorer but would like to get to have a live chat if possible, do I have to contact my provider over this?.

many thanks for the advice, have got it off the microsoft site and have requested advice as I'm not sure if I've got an acoount or not, prog in computer when it got it so anyway just wair and see what go old Bill
gates comes up with. perhaps he'll bung me a few bob to go away!!.

I'm fairly sure you can use your existing email address as "the account" - however, if not, it is easy to sign up for a free hotmail.co.uk address at http://www.hotmail.co.uk
