Windscreen Fixings....

My standard windscreen had a rather annoying vibration and when I examined it one of the fixings at the front is broken..... it ia the end of the bar at the front which the screw screws into whihc is broken... can not find anywhere on-line that sells them..... anyone any ideas?

I have had the bike less than a week and although a 2007 model the fixing was either broken at time of purchase or weak - either way it needs replacing.

Touratech do a metal replacement, and a metal replacement is a part of the Tobinator kit. The metal replacements are good as they don't break

The dealer said he will fix the issue I just have to get over there..... Peterborough is a long way from London or Cambridge!

Thanks for th ereplies though and I may just invest in one of those larger screens.

I would bet they were designed to break to save the screen in a spill. They are quite a cheap part and they certainly saved my screen in a spill. Just think a bit before making them unbreakable.
