Windscreen on my new GSA doesn't look too stable at speed, it's vibrating away quite a bit. Any mods to stop this available?

If you go for the Wunderlich support, make sure you order the cross brace too, I didn't realise this at the point of ordering but now that it's fitted, it is much more stable :-)

Having had the hassle of replacing the plastic arm struts when they eventually give way (usually from off-road work) then I'd say that fitting a brace of some variety makes good sense. Pain in the arse job. After that I fitted the Cymarc, which seems to do the job.

What year? and screen

My Givi screen rattled it's tits off, until i found out it has 2 brackets missing... got them fitted, and its fine now

I fitted the Cymarc brackets 2 years ago when I got mine, just the job!

^^ What Jonno said ^^

Fit the cymarc's and forget. Can't adjust the screen on the move, but simple enough when pulled over, just a couple of finger adjustable twist bolts. I personally have never moved my screen since getting it setup as I like it, so the Cymarcs hold it nice and steady, even with an extra deflector added to the top of it.

And there's the rub. BMW have designed a screen that can be adjusted while riding, and bods want to fix it in place. Hey ho.

I've seen a puig set of brackets which seem similar to the cymarc design but allow adjustment on the move. Anyone tried them? I have a puig touring screen ready to fit and am considering brackets.

I'd say the error lies in the design. Screen struts wouldn't be needed if it was stable (and strong) enough in the first place.

My GSA screens have been stable enough on several top speed runs all over Europe over the last 3 years

Depends what you use it for. A lot of off road riding and through vibrations the plastic arms that run up and down the rod will snap and they are a pain to replace (though in fairness I did buy an Off Road Skills bike). Sure, if you're not riding off road then don't bother. But we all use our bikes differently.

Noticed the screen vibration on the way home from the dealer on a 2017 GS. Slightly annoying. So the best fix is the Cymarc supports?

I've just ordered the Puig support struts for my MRA Touring screen. It's not an issue on normal riding but anything at motorway/dual carriageway speeds and there is a definite need for support.
