I would like to give Luke a shout out at Phoenix Wing Mirrors.
I needed to replace the glass only in the Wing Mirror and contacted Luke who was so helpful and gave me step by step guidance on what i needed.
I have a 2010 GS with the round mirrors BMW part 51168358966.
So if you only need glass you can google them or call 01903 246250 or look on Ebay, You will need to order a Convex round circular mirror 1260mm radius 2mm thickness and choose 109mm size for this particular mirror.
To fit remove mirror from the bike and gently heat the plastic with a heat gun until it becomes pliable place mirror in one side and push it in. When it cools down the plastic contracts and the glass sits in perfect. Thay do lots of other replacements glass for bikes and cars i hope this helps as it's much cheaper than buying a full unit.
