Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the G650 X range?
I'm looking at fitting a few items (heated grips etc) from a switched live & maybe fitting a switch to turn the lights off etc.

Many thanks in advance, Phil

I haven't got any wiring diagrams, but I set an additional switched supply up on mine using a relay triggered from the live to the rear light (IIRC). If doing it this way, remember to install an in line fuse.

Runs the heated grips and GPS no problem.

There's also a thread on here somewhere re someone using a spare lead that is found under the seat towards the tail - originally intended for something fitted to US bikes but not used on the UK ones.

Good luck!

Cheers, I'll have a poke around under the seat for the spare wire.
Although fitting a relay is the "correct" way to do things, I try to avoid it as I always seem to end up with a rat's nest!
In the past I have wired the heated grip[s from the fan circuit (Honda's) - this works well as I have never yet needed the grips when the fan runs, just not sure on the wiring on the XCountry.

It's alway's nice to have a wiring diagram anyway

Its relatively simple to get the front light to switch off, if your light switch supports that (I changed to a ktm switch) but the rear one is a different matter.

Thanks for that, maybe I haven't studied it closely enough but it doesn't make much sense to me, doesn't help with being on several pages & German coding either!

Looks like well ordered spaghetti to me, but you can open it up in adobe reader and then zoom in and out as you wish.
