Has anyone had a similar experience of the 1200 wobbling from side to side when just started and stationary? It seems to go away when ridden after a short while, but appears to be getting slightly worse each day.
This is a new phenomena for me and I guess must relate to the timing of the balancing shaft.

It's called a 'torque reaction' and occurs because the crankshaft runs along the axis of the bike rather tahn across as with other designs. When you rev the engine the spinning weight of the crankshaft sets up an 'equal and opposite' reaction. Think of helicopters and why they need the tail rotor. I don't think it does go away, it's just that when you have been on the bike for a bit you stop noticing.
