Is there any reason why the Wonder Wheel wouldn't be working/activated on a fully specced 2017 R1200RS??

I popped one of the Chigee (the BMW one) into the Nav Cradle today.....and the Wonder Wheel is not controlling it.
According to the Chigee website......my model bike should be compatible with it.

I'm going to try a Nav6 in it tomorrow and see if it controls that.

What the fook is that?
Surely if the bike came with Nav Prep......that should be in place?

My bike is a 1200....it doesn't have a TFT

I had a NAV6 on my 2017 1200RS and it worked OK on the wonder wheel. Older versions may well not be compatible.

It was acting up......even on the owners bike.

I have a feeling it's gonna be a visit to the MotherShip for a plug-in......and a rimming!

or you could just use the touchscreen like Honda, Royal Enfield, Voge, Suzuki & Moto Guzzi owners ...

one could argue that using a touchscreen is a more recent and sophisticated development than using some sort of pointing device reminiscent of something designed by IBM in 1985

So it turns out that the Chigee just needed to be rebooted......to break off it's relationship with the previous TFT epuipped bike it was mated to.

All hunky dory now.
