Wrapped my top box

Toolbox now wrapped, apart from the main panel, as I ran out of wrap.:blast

The guys at Signature CD are sending me some more vinyl, free of charge.:beerjug:

Nuts, looks nice. Dunno if you `suffer` from this but I have seen people (me included) catch the topbox when swinging my leg over the seat - especially with steel tipped endure style boots on. It would be a shame to scratch the `soft` vinyl off and I`m sure you are mindful (or carry a step ladder with you :D)

My top box has suffered from that very thing Mark.....when I've wrapped my boxes, I'll be wearing sheepskin lined slippaz ;)

Yep, I've done that. It's one of the reasons for wrapping the box. I go over the vinyl with a hairdryer (Mrs Nutty's, obviously :P), so it sticks better.:thumb

You lazy bastard... That hosepipe was a trip hazard when your patio was flooded a few weeks back... Get it picked up...

Like it nutty. BTW, my girlfriend has a "top box" as well, ain't wrapped though.:D

It was. We had another flood since then, but the soak away has been cleared now, so I'll get the wife to reel it up tomorrow.:thumb

I'm thinking of doing the same as the boxes take ages and a lot of elbow grease to to keep them in tiptop condition.

What is the cost of the vinyl and is it supplied as a set for all three boxes

Has anyone just bought some 3M or whatever this film is and done it themselves.....140euros to do 3 boxes seems a lot of brass for a bit of sticky back plastic :tears

I paid £40 for the top box film.

You could do it yourself, but it would take ages. It wouldn't look as good either. I've wrapped my toolbox that goes behind the pannier rails, and that took a couple of hours to do properly, but it still doesn't look as good as the top box.

I'm sure your right Nutty but 140 euros :blast...'.Anyway' Iv'e looked for a supplier of the stuff and up to press all I can find is small sizes which wouldn't do the boxes.

I've been speaking with the MD at Signaturecd, and they will now offer a 15% discount for forum members. Just put UKGSER in the coupon box, at checkout.:thumb

Shame I don't need any more!:P
