Has anyone tried a WRS screen on an 1150? I'd be interested to hear feedback. My standard (but butchered) GSA screen needs replacing and I figure that since some of the MotoGP bikes run WRS screens fitting one will make my GS go a lot faster......

From the look of it, it should deflect more weather from the shoulders but looks can be deceptive.

The other option is to go for an MRA Vario but I'd have to revert to the GS screen mounts and probably lose the Tobinators. Had a Vario on my old 850GS and it was brilliant but seems like a downgrade in size terms. Decisions decisions....

If you want to go faster get the graphite coloured bike. Much faster than the Tesco ones.

I've put the WRS Screen on my 1100 and its 100% better that the original so i imagine it will be decent on the 1150!!

Thanks for the feedback but in the end I decided to go for an MRA Vario which worked so well on my 850GS oilhead - smaller than the 1150 WRS one but with more adjustability. This means also reverting to standard (rather than GSA) screen mounting hardware so just waiting for those bits and the screen to arrive from Motorworks. Then I can do the screen, LED headlight bulbs, LED instrument bulbs, TomTom wiring, Migsel mount and a USB socket all at the same time while everything's apart. And get the beak resprayed too. I love a little garage-based holiday project. :bounce1

It was ok, though I’d probably not recommend if you are tall like me as there was some buffeting, The main negative for me was that I couldn’t adjust it up or down ….. which I know you can’t do with adventure screens anyway … I did find some Tobinators which I still have, but never tried, have no bolts with them…but make me an offer if you want them…I can always post up a pic. I went back to the standard 1150GS set up with an MRA Vario screen.

I’ve found a great set up with a standard GSA screen and winglets. I’ve also fitted a dash infill recently but the biggest benefit was from the winglets - under £16 from Aliexpress
