Hi Guys, Are these types of cruise control any good? I'm looking to go all over europe with long distances being covered my motorway. I don't mind spending what I need to but at about £60 it's a gamble I'd rather not make.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated before I "Hit the button" and order one from NN's
Cheers in advance, Chris.

I love mine...

With gloves on, the tip of my pinky pushes forward on it till the throttle stiffens up... If planning on being off the throttle for a while (couple minutes to shake the feeling back into my arm), I'll grab it between thumb and forefinger and tweak it on...

When engaged full it's easy to roll the throttle off, but the throttle won't move by itself.

To disengage a simple roll back with the side of the hand till it's running free is all that's needed...

Quality bit of kit IMHO.

After many miles around France this summer I can recommend it. You soon get used to reaching over and tightening up the wheel. Simple to disengage and really helps with the strain and relative boredom at having to hold the throttle on for seemingly endless autoroute miles.

I have one and tend not to use it unless I need my right hand to do a zip up or similar.

They should be made with a left hand thread, as some are, so when you roll the throttle off it releases:rolleyes:

I've got a soloution for that..............I could just fit it to the left hand grip.Job done!!!:aidan

No seriously it looks like I'll buy one from the good reports I've had from you guys.
Cheers for all your replies!

Did you say cheaper? I just looked them up and thier £80:eek:
However the do look like a quality bit of kit.

£80 is probably what 4 years subscription to the fitness centre costs where a limp wrist can easily be sorted:augie

Tried the link but it takes me to a Sport Touring website?

Now that is strange! I just tried it and it takes me to the Kaoko website :nenau Earlier in the year I bought two of the throttle things from them and the price including postage was cheaper than one from Sport Touring. Try it again or Google it!
