I came back 45 minutes later totally converted.

Fantastic bike, I’d love to take one on an alps / picos trip

Its here, arrived 1;30 then straight in to the farkle room
Alarm, Optimate lead, Rear hugger, front fender extender, side bars, Enduro foot rests, Top box, Small no plate, Yoshimura end can all fitted and ready for work tomorrow if it dont pi55 down, only thing is that the fairing wind deflectors wont be here till Friday !! sa la vi
Honda seem to have got there heated grips sorted these are like holding onto 2 burning sticks, a couple of pics for your viewing pleasure

........................If only I was minted and could afford a replacement for my old Tmax .

(Its on almost 53,000 miles now and still going strong, new tyres in January should make a big difference to the old girl.)

If the Yellow was not Matt I would have ordered it even with the additional £1200, but just dont do matt bikes Martin they are a Fuccer to keep clean

Never had an issue with matt bikes . I just use Autoglym Pure shampoo as any polishing agent will give it slight shine .

Give one a go, if you are ok with the DCT I think you will love it, I prefer CVT but like the style of the Xadv

The only negatived for me are the riding position is more cramped than a TMax and its chain drive

I liked the DCT on my AT. I took an adv350 out after glowing reports on here but tbh it was a bit meh… maybe it was a bit tight as it only had 90 miles on the odo but I couldn’t imagine using one for fun only, maybe commuting which I don’t do anymore.
I’ve considered a GTS300 too but the smaller wheels and the potholed roads just don’t give me confidence. There are plenty of new 2024 X-ADV models around for reduced price too so maybe a test ride is in order

Surprised you weren’t impressed with 350. Took mine from Guernsey to Peak District. It would cruise at 70 all day and top out at 95mph. SteveR1 took his over the alps . It’s so much more than a commuter toy IMHO .

Yep, I was surprised it didn’t hit the spot too..your feedback was one of the reasons I tried it. Maybe it deserves another go.
My last scoot was a Gilera 180SP, now that was fun
