Hi guys
Apologies if this has already been asked, but I have looked (possibly not well enough!) but can't find the answer to my question.
I'm going to change my fork oil and seals after the old seals blew. The forks are standard BMW and I believe it's 665ml oil in each fork. However, this assumes you've drained every last ml of the old oil. Can anyone advise the distance from the top (i.e. how much space/air? Without spring and compressed?) that you should fill up to.
FWIW on a DRZ400 it's 122mm, not that that's relevant! A different brand of XC fork seems to be 140mm as per http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=559806
