I think it's called the Cush bearing does the steel insert come out :confused:or is it part of the bearing,
Also when you purchase the bearings do they come with seals part of of a kit ?

Thanks:beerjug:

The 'insert' is separate and seals need to be ordered unless with a bearing 'kit'

Ahh that's what I thought its strange the insert turns no problem but just doesn't want to come out!!, I wondered about the seals I've looked on wemoto site and could not work out which ones I need, do you know of anywhere that would be able to supply the bearing kit ?

Thanks in advance :beerjug:

Thanks Tim, il try and persuade the insert out, this is turning into a baptism of fire!!
I originally thought how hard can this be, :blast I've now realised I'm mechanically inept :hide.

Use a socket to either push the insert out with a vice and a big socket to receive the insert or a if pushed and you don't have a vice you could use a mallet on the socket :D

My last set I got from here, Marksman Industrial; they have a motorcycle bearing thread going.

The rear set will include the wheel bearings, wheel bearing seal, drive hub bearings etc

The front set includes 2 bearings and 2 seals, and their pack works out cheaper than buying them seperately.

That's good GFJ, they knock kits out per bike per wheel configuration.....fair play. And a good price too.
I was using http://simplybearings.co.uk/shop/ where I was buying the selecting the seals and bearing as seperate items to make my own service kit up.
These companies can supply bearings and seals to do both wheels at a fraction of the price of OEM parts.....

GFJ the bearings in the marksman range say 06 07 mine is an 08 do you know. If there is any diffrence between the years? .

No difference, these bikes had a limited production run but took some time to sell. My bike is on a 58 plate and they fit fine.
