Hi , I have a Puig screen on my bike, it's attached by four bolts to a couple of brackets and quite tall, it's also noisy so I added an add on lip type thing but wind noise persists. I saw this "Puig Smoke Grey Naked Screen / Windscreen 0869H BMW G 650 Xcountry ABS 2007-2010" screen on ebay which I'm assuming is a much smaller "sporty" screen, anyone tried one? any thoughts on a smaller screen? thoughts appreciated before I spend any more money:blast Cheers:beerjug:John B

I could do with a new screen
The ebay one looks like it attaches to the headlight bolts.

My existing screen is attached by 4 bolts - think touratwat or wankerlich.

My screen is about the same size as the ebay offering. I have no problem it is rare i go over 75mph - and if i do it is for short periods and is fine.
The bikes were sold new i believe with no screen

Ta for the replies chaps, I realise now that my screen is the Isotta one:blast Thanks for the suggestions, I knew I saw a photo of an X Country with a small screen but couldn't remember where:rob Cheers:beerjug:John b

You might get some interesting advice/perspective from sending a PM to @schtum, 4th posting/photo on the following thread:

Hope this helps...

Thanks Paul. It's ok with the wee screen which is actually an OEM BMW screen. However, searching for some more wind protection since I like to ride quickly, I've recently fitted a spoiler as well.

I've not been able to try it yet so I can't report on how effective or otherwise it is.

Not the best pic of a dirty bike and an extremely untidy garage. The garage is now much tidier but the bike still hasn't been cleaned as currently the front brake is in bits.
