At long last my trail bike is finally ready to get dirty. This has been a long and painful rebuild [expensive too] but at least i know it's practically as good as new.
It did have the twin googly headlights but i just couldn't get used to the look of those.
Electric start and kick start just in case.
Could do with a speedo console if anyone out there can help?
The new CRF hadn't come out when i started on the bike, otherwise i may not have bothered and just got one of those instead, if i dare to total up the amount i've spent there won't be much in it, but i could have saved myself some blood sweat and busted knuckles

Shame about the headlight, I think the twin one's look great:blast:blast Let me know if you want to sell them.

Sold already, but they were in pretty bad shape with broken lenses etc. I did look for some original ones, but i just couldn't get used to that 'surprised' expression on the front.

I also don't like the Baja twin light set up....yet I loved that sort of look on my old Triumph Speed Triple......(and we reckon women are fickle.....:nenau)

That's now a very nice looking XR.......:thumb2

Speedo on my 93 baja is exactly the same as a crm250/xr250, 400, 600, 650 etc
