Reliving bike trips whilst sat at my desk....
Well, courtesy of Snoopy, I now have a lovely Y piece on my bike, ready to tak on the crappy fuel of South America, in stead of fouling the cat.

At present it is running with a remus revolution, baffle out and so it sounds sweet!! So far, I've only taken it for a 5 minute spin, but it seems to run fine except for a bit of popping on the over-run. At five bars temp, I kept it at 4,000 rpm for a bit, but it did not seem to do any of that surging stuff, but I guess a lengthier test will tell me exactly where I stand. If that starts to run badly I can still fit the baffle , or even resort to the original can. I plan to have it dyno'ed to see how it is actually coping. If I do it with the present set up and its lean, at least I know that putting in baffles or changing cans can only make it better rather than worse, but with that note on full chat, I hope its fine as its is as I'd hate to mute the beast!!

:D :D :D

Any other tell takle signs, I should look for ? Is a plug chop worth doing? If so, how long should I ride before whipping out the plug?
