Main roads weren’t too bad but the estate roads were a feet down job. The 500’s were unloved for a while and not that great tbh. I’ve had three and a good 350 is much more fun and a lot cheaper when they shit themselves !

To think we actually got on our bikes to go to the pub in those conditions years ago; i remember a ride to the cat & fiddle in winter one year;; daft arses we were;

Sold it a few years ago ….. 150,000 miles in ten years on it
No corrosion, didn’t burn any oil, valve clearances still bang in the middle of permitted range, never required adjusting, original cam chain and clutch
