Yet another 1200 failure

Poxy bike, went out for a ride and its blown the headlight bulb
Its only just over a year old with 10K on the clock, Should I :-

1) reject under the sales of goods act?
2) Call BMW breakdown get the3m to take to dealer for repair and insist on a loaner?
or
3) Claim compensation for the stress of possibly not being seen in daylight even with my fog lights on?

That's nothing mate. Iv'e just been told my 08 bike with 14k miles needs new tyres.

I thought these BMW's were indestructible

You might be joking but I witnessed a 1200 owner do just this

And whatever you use in the event of an engine failure it will be the wrong type

The airheads are better. My R65 did 70 million miles on 1oz of oil, 1 gallon of chip fat and still had loads of rubber left on the back tyre. That's build quality for you

Yeh, bakelite rear tyres, those were the days, Great for milage but not so good for grip
