Running with standard can and ypiece, the ypiece extension seems to be at wrong angle can is too vertical and warming indicator also cannot fit exhaust corner trim, just wondering if there is an alternative of the shelf y piece extension that I can pick up or do I have to go to an specialist pipe bender/fabricator.

What I'm saying is that the Y pieces I've seen (and have) are normally a one piece unit, with no 'link' pipe.

Where did you get that setup from?

Not sure either from a fellow gser of this site or eBay wondered if it was for the GSA if that would make any difference

I think all the 1150's were the same.. can't you loosen the clamp under the engine and swivel the silencer down to where you want?

This is the 'usual' Y piece.

No cant swivel to the right angle don't know why I have a two piece fitting silencer needs to go up at front and down at back

The Black Widow Y piece comes in two pieces, not sure if this is one of theirs? Their is also an extra section of pipe between the Y piece and the silencer on mine too, but I do not know if you need this with the standard silencer.

I have gone from running a cat and stubby for many years to their Y piece and silencer and bike seems to breathe more freely, giving it a bit more grunt.
