Apologies, since I know there are plenty of posts about the pros and cons of fitting a set of downpipes and doing away with the cat....
However, I have an '09 GSA and really want to fit either Akrapovic or Keihan header pipes over the next few weeks. I intend to keep the original air filter since I keep hearing a K&N type will make a 2009 bike run far too lean.
Question is........ has anyone with a 2008/9 bike, fitted with aftermarket header pipes had their bike on a Dyno to see how lean the engine is running?
I can justify the cost of the downpipes but don't really want to (can't afford) to spend another wedge on a Power Commander if you see what I mean.
