Yet another iTunes question

Yet another problem with the deadly iTunes.

I created Playlist from multiple albums and artists. I put them in a random order and there is about 7 hours worth. I then Burned a CD that I want to play in the car.
The CD burned but what did it do? It put all the tracks in the order of the artist and has taken away all of the order of play I wanted. Not a total disaster as I can still put the car player in random mode but still not what I wanted.

I've tried Googling for a solution that will leave the tracks in the order I see them in the Playlist but haven't found an answer yet... any ideas? Please!

If i remember correctly
When copy your music in to your 'Play list' (burn folder) in itunes.
you can then organise how the tracks are arranged using the top menu bar.
