I exhibited them at the Bike Show recently & I must say I was very surprised by the positive feedback I received.
They are very substantial (being made out of 2mm aluminium) but surprisingly light in weight.
Lots of people commented how much better (& a lot cheaper) they were than Touratech & Metal Mule. But I suppose you pays your money etc etc. AND they are guaranteed (see
web-site). Am hoping to attend some of the GS rallies next year so members will be able to see them first hand. At the moment am working on panniers & frames for the 1200GS. They will be available early January.

I saw the Stahlkoffer panniers at the NEC bike show recently & agree they are very well made & excellent value for money. Having tried Vario’s & T.Tech I decided that the Stahlkoffer design features offered something more practical and functional, plus the fact they are made from 2mm aluminium certainly makes them much stronger than other manufacturers. I also like the simple “lift-off” lid design, very useful if you have all your camping gear strapped on them.

I have already ordered a set for my new GS (arriving early next year) so can’t wait to get them fitted & off on an Italian tour.
