Having leafed through other posts, I'm amazed that they run at all...
OK, my 2001 GS1150 failed to start - clock resets to zero and all you hear is the relay chattering.
It still fails to start having swapped in (one at a time) a known good starter and a known good starter relay. And it won't start if you try to slave it (with a known good starter and known good starter relay). Fuses look fine, although there doesn't seem to be a "starter" fuse; and I can hear the fuel pump coming on line when the ignition is switched on.
A quick whizz through posts here indicates that it could yet be the existing battery - is it worth replacing it with a known good one (as opposed to slaving it)?
Otherwise, what else should I check?
Any / all thoughts gratefully received...
Cheers,
James
