You all told me.....

Out on my HT Levo at every opportunity, which is most days at the moment. I mainly ride the cycleways but occasionally venture off the beaten track into forests and tracks etc. Fitted a trail watts battery extender as well as a Suntours suspension seat post.........and a comfier seat :thumb

Superb ,I looked very hard at this before getting the Cube HT

Bike is now fixed, thanks to a recommendation from the other Paul G. Rode it (one handed) to a local chap, he fixed it in under an hour for the princely sum of £25. No cosmetic damage other than a scuffed decal on the forks and a ripped gear lever cable, which he’s replaced. I, on the other hand, may take a little longer to fix. :tears

Don't really care about the damage to you but wtf did you do to the bike ?

Snapped gear lever cable. The bike is unmarked.

Are you ok Nutty? What happened?

Going round a tight left hander at speed, the pedal dug in to a protruding tree root causing the bike to go down, throwing me off in the process. I’m going to go back and chainsaw the tree down once I’ve recovered. That’ll learn it. :D

Shudda gone to specsavers! :D

Don’t suppose there’s any footage of said splatteration? :nenau

It all happened so quickly. Unfortunately no video or pictures. I got the fuck out of there quick, before anyone saw what happened!

Local park going on the size of it! Jesus!

We met a fairly hardcore & young, fit MTB rider on a fancy Lapierre on the fell tops yesterday (we were on the trail bikes ) and had a chat

He was doing 30++miles off-road on a normal bike yesterday

He said he daren’t try a eMTB as he would be converted despite initially scorning then 2-3 years ago

He would (if he did) buy a Levo SL at 14kg as he wanted a light eMTB but with power assist for the hills so he could do more downhills in his rides

Interesting chat

What seat did you buy, mine has just broken this evening :blast

In the end I’ve fitted a Charge Spoon. It’s a quarter of the price of the one a few pages back, and more comfortable.
