I was riding past my local Triumph dealer (Destination Triumph in washington) and noticed they had a 650gs with a touring screen. (The uber expensive one that has the cross bar) 
The great chaps let me buy the one off there bike for £75 
What a bargin! Tis a Huge improvement and didn't cost me £220
It always worth an ask, I didn't evan have my gorgous girlfriend with me to smooth over the negotation process!
