This rider came to an abrupt halt

I wonder what happened here:eek:

Perhaps picked up a foreign object, that got stuck in the spokes would be a reasonable explanation

I've seen this before on a mates chopper, one to many spokey dokes :augie

That's what happens when you put it in Dynamic mode and switch off the traction control :augie

That'll not be a problem for you, you don't have Dynamic.....................maybe you couldn't handle that raw power, so opted for a bike with Rain mode only

:D

.......and cast wheels - so that's one more problem for me not to worry about :P :D

Wasn't a similar picture posted sometime in the last year or so of a similar happening on the previous model of GSA. If I remember correctly, didn't the brake caliper come off and trash the spokes?

edit: here's the thread.

Although in this case the caliper still appears to be in place.

Caliper still on that WC so looks like a bar has gone in the wheel . Bet his pants were full !!

Brake caliper looks all intact on this one, shame the pads couldn't slow the wheel down though:augie

He put a lolly stick in the spokes for a more gnarly sound.
But no one told him about the low quality control standards now used by bmw.
