In making the transition from Zumo on my GS to Zumo on my KTM I appear to have lost the nuts and bolts which attach the powered cradle to the back plate :blast

Could anyone tell me what size they are so that I can buy some please.

Thanks

i think you will find them to be 4mm dia by whatever length you need. be carfull not to lose the little inserts that look like top hats.

Thanks Lee - Ive lost the inserts too so will have to improvise :blast

the inserts are there to help stop vibration by allowing the bolts to tighten but still allowing the mount to move on the rubbers, if not in place the unit may fall fowl of vibration.

I'm sure he'll find a way to duck that one or chicken out and buy some new top hats.... :augie

Boom boom!

Maybe you could check the bolt size on yours while practising your stand up gags :aidan

Sorry mate, mine's a Nav IV. I've got the old cradle somewhere now that mine sits in the cradle on my TE but I think even the original Nav IV cradle is different from the Zumo 660 one in respect of the way the power cable is attached. :nenau

I measured mine for the security brackets I had made. Just had a look at my sketch and it states M5.
But I didn't get any screws with mine (used) so I used my own. No Top hat inserts either.

all the garmin fateners i've ever seen have been some weird assed thread that only the americans would use like UNC or something. no reason why they cant be replaced with metric though.

the very same mount and the unused bag with the bolts and the exact measurement is 3.9mm
