Zumo 660 - No longer supported

My 6 year old unit has stopped charging from the mount. I've changed the mount and tried it on other mounts and its definitely the unit.

Phoned Garmin for assistance and got the helpful response that the unit is no longer supported so tough shit

My 660 gets used every working day in my truck and has done since the day I bought it 6 years ago. At weekends it goes on the bike or in the car. It's been on numerous European and domestic trips (since the first day trip abroad with you) so is well used. It's worked faultlessly from day 1 and apart from the screen, still does which is one of the reasons for not needing or wanting to change it.

I have no idea how that frowning emoji thing got there either!

Mine went iffy last year when away , wasn't charging and kept switching off , opened the back and put a thin piece of foam between the door and battery to prevent it moving and it cured the problem !!!!
