Noticed last night that the rubber pin cover on the zumo mount has started to perish. Any one know if you can get replacements for these? Ive had a look on the garmin site and nothing popped up.

Give Garmin UK a ring, they`ll probably replace the bike mount for you, otherwise the mount will fail once you get water onto/into the electrical contacts.
I`ve had my second bike mount replaced by them, just this week, phoned them monday and they said send it to us and we`ll replace it, new bike mount arrived Thursday brilliant service from them.:clap

Just got off the phone from Garmin. They are going to send out a replacement boot free of charge. Hats of to garmin.:clap. Now does anyone know if silicone grease be be ok to use to keep the rubber supple as well as the contacts clean?

I use Halfords silicone spray on the rubber weather cover every couple weeks. Stops any perishing problems. I use Halfords electrical contact cleaner on the electrical pins now and again. Works perfectly !:thumb

Replacement Boots

Just an update to this. Garmin have sent me not one but two spare boot protectors for the contacts. Excellent service from Garmin once again. :)
