Zumo Xt won’t calculate route.

In Spain at the minute. It has set my location as Ghana and won’t let me calculate my route.

And ideas?

Hard Factory Reset Steps

• Turn off the device completely (hold the power key and select Turn Off rather than entering sleep mode).
• Touch and hold your finger firmly on the lower-right corner of the touchscreen.
• Press and hold the Power button to turn the unit back on.
• Keep holding the screen corner until the message "Do you really want to erase all user data?"appears.
• Release your finger and tap Yes. [1, 2]

This happened to me a couple of years ago. Garmin advised to go into the device and delete all the files in the archive folder. This worked for me and I have never had another issue. Only problem I had was finding someone with a pc as I have a mac and I couldn't see the xt files, I used a mates pc and all was good

Switch it off and on again.
Mine did some nonsense about 4000 miles to my destination and I had to ride out in to the sea!

Be ready to re-upload all your routes.

To address Casbar's (correct) comment and add some potentially useful info: to access the XT's filesystem from Mac it's a tiny bit more of a faff (XT is an Android device essentially) and you need a program called Commander One, that allows MTP (Media Transfer Protocol).
But the hard reset should do the trick.

ideally do the factory reset somewhere with wifi that allows you to download stuff as you will need to update the device and reload maps
