What software other than that which comes with your Garmin (MapSource) do members use or recommend?

Sorry M8, haven't tried any other and see no need to spend extra cash. I find Mapsource does everything I want.

I'm not sure you have any other choice, I was under the impression Garmin had it pretty well stitched up

G7ToWin is very useful.
It is freeware and will down/upload waypoints, routes and tracklogs and save the output in a text format.

Very useful for exchanging the above info with friends without Mapsource including non-Garmin users.
