DFDS ferry to Norway cancelled

I'm gutted.

I had booked the ferry from Newcastle to Bergen on Wednesday the 27th of June.

I have just had an email saying that they are no longer sailing on a Wednesday! They are only going on a Tuesday or Friday and they ferry will take about 5 hours longer!

Well, I can't go on Tuesday because I have no more Holidays. If I go Friday, get there late on Saturday compared to early Thursday then I am losing 3 days riding.

I'm tempted to have a refund - that cannot confirm if I will be entitled to one though!

Any of you had the same issue?

Norway, noway?

I was thinking of going in late May either that or back to Iceland but that ferry is in question at the moment aswell!! I'll need to book something now as cabin space is limited!

Last time I went to Norway was in 2003 on the old Fjordline boat so I had been checking out the DFDS sailing to Stavanger, Haugesund and Bergen!

I don't know if this Ferry is making any money the Smyril Line certainly isn't and it would be a great pity to loose them!
