Just getting to grips with photobucket, so hope this works....
Bought my 1100 last year with a black adv tank already on it, so decided to pursue this theme cosmetically.
Swapped the 2 saddles for a complete adv yellow/black rear end and had the silver surround/rack powder coated gloss black too. The laser can i fitted has been stripped, the pipework painted in matt black heatproof paint and the sleeve in gloss black. The belly pan is now gloss black too as are several other parts that were showing the age of the bike, like the torque arm and the footpegs.
Although clean when i bought it, i have lavished it with care over the darker months and fitted a stainless bolt kit throughout.
The only other bit i wanted to change was the front end, so I set about collecting the necessary bits-mainly 2nd hand, to do the job. After picking up a beak, i realised that bodging it on wasn't for me, so bought an 1150 subframe and all the necessary bits; oil cooler, clock surround and carrier, screen etc etc....
Managed to get it all bolted up today, so this is where i am currently. Am trying to sell some of the 1100 parts i removed to finance the headlights needed, then I'm done!
Look forward to criticism, not only of the bike but of my filthy garage!!
Cheers,Goose
