New Guzzi V85 looks good.

Sometimes “less is more”...... a return to a simpler life

I completely agree , and I’ve been telling my mate the same but that’s why I recently bought what I call my “engine , chassis and 2 wheels “ machine. No emissions nonsense to spoil it, no TC , no ABS , no engine modes, etc ... it even has a Manual choke on the handlebars or a they call it a “Cold Start Lever” :thumb

I have done it ! Took one for a test ride and loved it. Full of character, reminded me of my earlier BMW’s only it handles great. Tilts to right when revved on tickover and bars shake. Once going it’s great. No ball of fire but has got as much as you need for road riding so you have fun without getting points or losing your licence. Apart from a muddy track it won’t be going off road....but how many GS’s do

Just been away on it for weekend to Scottish border and loved all the twisties and even stirring it the bike averaged 65mpg

It’s old school but with a modern twist and puts a big smile on my face

And other than in the showrooms I haven’t seen another one in my 4 weeks of owning it and 1400 miles

It’s got SOUL And I love it

Nice one John. Get a Capanord front mudguard ordered. That front cover really does take a beating. Capanord handguards are much better too.

I’d be interested to see a picture of the Capo mudguard in situ Steve. Apart from the fact that the bike only has 80hp , i reckon about 95-100 is the sweet spot , that vulnerable from engine is the only other thing that would bother me.

PM me your number and I'll watsapp you some. Still can't work out how to do it on here.

One of the best screens I ever had on my F series of bikes & my 1200's..
And have one to go on my current 700GS, as I've just fecked my Wunderlich Vario screen.

Ash - which Givi screen is that?

That Sir, is a Givi Airflow

I really like the look of this bike, and am warming to it more and more.

A minor point, I've not seen mentioned whether the wheel spokes and nipples are made of stainless steel or not?
