23952 ABS sensor fault - 2010 GSA

So the warning light doesn’t go out after a short ride. Brakes all fine otherwise but no ABS.

Using my GS-911wifi, I have performed all the functionality checks on the ABS system, can hear the motor running, can hear each valve actuating as it should.

Weirdly, the front speed sensor is showing something like 4000mph! The rear shoes 0mph and increases as I turn the wheel slowly. Turning the front wheel by hand has no effect on the speed sensor reading. See below picture for what I mean!

Any help appreciated still!

and if you swap the two inputs over does the fault move to the other wheel?

Nope. I’m thinking it’s a new sensor I’ve put on the front and no change to the fault therefore it might be something from the sensor connection to the ABs controller or ECU???

No I replaced the front sensor with a brand new one, therefore think the problem is somewhere between the sensor connection and the rest of the ABS electrics....

Cannot replicate the problem with the rear by swapping sensors

what happens if you use the old front and the new sensor.... I still think is a break in the wire to the rear sensor (that's the designed in fault they all have)

Absolutely no idea where to go with this issue now.

Should the battery voltage above be zero?
