R 80 G/S rechrome forks

Looking for a recommendation for rechroming the pitted forks on my R80 G/S.
I know of H.P.C Hardchrome in Mansfield and Philpots in Luton but not sure who to use ,
HPC quote £150 on there website and Philpot quote £190

Any recomendations please

I have a suspicion that tetley used HPC for a pair of g/s forks ,
Philpots do a fine job but their lead times can be fairly long .

Yep I used Mansfield hard chrome on the G/S. If I remember correctly it was £110 cash. It took about two weeks. Excellent job. Just for info I bought a new set for the r100 for £120.

I also used the same on Tetley’s recommendation during the last lockdown.

Took a bit of chasing up but got there in the end.
