Well folks

It starts all over again for 2009; the relevant information is attached in two files – a regular word document and a GDB file compatible with your GPS (hopefully). :type

I have already been told that Capeen in Cork should be Copeen on the list – so I made a mistake, stop pointing and get on with it. :augie
You know the routine by now. :rob

In these recessionary times why sit at home worrying, get out on your bike and smile. The rest of humanity will think you mad but we know what they don’t. Invest in the Photo Rally, the returns are good. ;)

One final but important thing: -

Gordon Adair [who is known to some of you about these parts] of BBC NI will be at Gortmore, the Derry photo location, on Sunday, April 5, from 12 noon until 3 pm [that's the Kesh my arse weekend] gathering interviews and shots with whoever comes along with a view to featuring a short motorbike/Photo Rally piece for the telly around the time of the North West 200. The clips will be relatively short and he'll rattle off short interviews with everyone who comes along between those times. He'll most likely have more material than he can use so don’t be too disappointed if your interview doesn't make it to air; he'll pick whichever clips are best for TV purposes. If you wish to be even more famous it’s worth a shot. :Duchess

Have a good safe year and enjoy yourselves out there. We are due some good Summer weather. :Motomartin

Thanks to Daithi for sorting the GDB file:thumb2

Got my wee badge today Gerry.

It was great craic doing it. This year I going to try to get the son to come along for a bit of quality time.

And chance of showing the photograph that captured the spirit of 2008 ?

Thanks again to all involved for organising it.

Don't have any shots just now - they are with my collaborator; I'll try and sort a few out later. It's a lot of miles for a wee badge but it gets you out of the house. :tarka

Woo Hoo! Hopefully there's decent weather this year. I tried the last 2, which were the worst summers I can remember.

Love to do this.Any advise on what SatNav would be best for the job without spending a fortune.

a friend of mine got a special mention at the last presentation of awards for doing it without a satnav. You should try and steal his thunder this year :augie

Anything Garmin is the best bet cos nearly everyone uses these. I've a Quest & it's a great wee yoke. It's discontinued so, if you find one, it shouldn't cost the earth. Other old units like the Street Pilot lll are also a good buy.

I'm done :D
Picked up the final point in Clare on Saturday. I had hoped to get it after Richies Run but just ran out of time to get across from Kerry & still hit it in daylight so I detoured there on Saturday and now I'm finished for 2009 :bounce1

Some great locations again, well done Gerry :clap

What the hell am I gonna do for the rest of the year :nenau :(
