I was driving on a road in D15 today. A car coming towards us was doing the usual vigorous flashing so it was fairly obvious there was a speed trap up ahead. ( not that I needed a warning to slow down:augie). Anyway the guy in front actually started to speed up:mmmm and was caught.
The guard stood out on the white line of the bus lane and raised her hand to stop him and while he was slowing she beckoned him to pull in but she never moved so he actually hit her leg:eek:.
So after she was finished doing a little jump:D she kicked the side of his car. I kid you not. Quite unbelievable but I suppose if you put yourself in her situation, your professionalism may go out the window for a split second too.

So as I passed she looked across at me as if to say I hope you did not see that but I had to give her a look to say 'oh yes I did' but I would have loved to pull in to see what her treatment of the driver was.
I reckon if he did not have his immigration papers, he was on the next flight back to the south of the equator.

So if anyone knows the small blonde Garda stationed in Blanch and is on the bikes, stay out of leg reach. (not that that is very far:D:D)

probebly same blonde biker that pulled me in for no inducater workin on trailer i had.she was tasty and believed my petty excuse of"it was workin when i collected the trailer in the docks":D:D

I would say that guy today ended up in the docks but not the one down by the ferry:D:D

Was she a traffic cop or on a Deauville? I had a run in with a female traffic bike cop on a pan coming out of the old toll bridge on the M50 about two years ago.She came across several lanes to get to the outside lane and was well lit.I was in an outside type of slip road thingy and was trying to get into an inner lane and we almost bumped into each other.Lights flashing she pulled me over and shouted at me asking what I was doing? I asked her the same thing and proposed that my training was obviously better than hers and that only for the fact that I did a life saver we would have hit! Well a row ensued and she said roared at me" do ya want to discuss it over a ticket?" Says I to her,"well you are a cop so you must be right!" And she said she was right and blasted off.Guess she wanted the last word? Funny them key stone cops!

Not on a Pan, on a Honda DO NOT. So I guess not a real traffic cop so therefore N0 Real training. Not they get any anyway.

No Garda is allowed on an Official bike without having passed the standard 4 week course, this includes high speed riding well in excess of the national speed limit.
How many in here have had 4 weeks (5 days a week, 8 hours per day) training??

Is the training of 'I am wearing a uniform' arrogance included in those 4 weeks?:D

Not many I would imagine ! I have done about 20 hours training in total but then again I am not a professional rider. How does this compare to what UK or European police have to do ?

Its not all on the road.... there is a reasonable time spent in the classroom & a day in the depot learning clutch skills followed by a few days (2) at ratra corner in the park learning how to turn right & left. Its a very tough course for those that have never driven a bike and are expected to get up to standard in four weeks. The instructors are very sound guys.

I've got 23 years, two accidents, one my fault, one not...

Does that count:D
