I was driving on a road in D15 today. A car coming towards us was doing the usual vigorous flashing so it was fairly obvious there was a speed trap up ahead. ( not that I needed a warning to slow down
). Anyway the guy in front actually started to speed up
and was caught.
The guard stood out on the white line of the bus lane and raised her hand to stop him and while he was slowing she beckoned him to pull in but she never moved so he actually hit her leg
.
So after she was finished doing a little jump
she kicked the side of his car. I kid you not. Quite unbelievable but I suppose if you put yourself in her situation, your professionalism may go out the window for a split second too.
So as I passed she looked across at me as if to say I hope you did not see that but I had to give her a look to say 'oh yes I did' but I would have loved to pull in to see what her treatment of the driver was.
I reckon if he did not have his immigration papers, he was on the next flight back to the south of the equator.
So if anyone knows the small blonde Garda stationed in Blanch and is on the bikes, stay out of leg reach. (not that that is very far
)
