Hi all
Has anyone done the Hawes to Kettlewell road up past the cheese factory. I did it Saturday its sheer bliss BM heaven. Nice milky coffee in Hawes too.

I did Hawes - Thwaite - Keld - Kirkby Stephen at Christmas.

'kin cold on top of Butter Tubs Pass, but the B6270 was a grin:D
 
did Layburn to kettlewell on our home from whitby on sunday, great roads and lot's of gs's out and about:thumb2
 
My local routes, I live in Richmond. If you want any more decent runs in the area give me a shout for suggestions.
One of my favs at the minute is Richmond-Leyburn-Masham-Ripon-Pately Bridge-Lofthouse-Ellingstring-Middleham-Leyburn-Richmond.
Cracking Sunday morning run :)

I've ridden it regularly for many a year. It's one of the most scenic roads in the UK. It's not a razzing road, but a bimbling one, you can soon get caught out with errant motorists and sheep. Upper Wharfedale :thumb

Then headed toward Richmond on our way to Redworth,don't know how but halfway to Richmond the sat nav took us off our main route onto this fantastic single track lane for about 5 mls until returning us to our planned route.
Bit of serendipity me thinks.

My Mate Swidders always goes to this meeting.....But of course he is of that age :rolleyes:

He even turned down a day doing this ,,,,That Apple Pie must be very good :D
