"Find" problems

Anybody else have trouble finding a specific address in Mapsource?

The times I have wanted to do this, Mapsource has always let me down and I have to go ahead and play with the cursor and find the street manually.

Given that I am very careful when I enter the details, what do you think I'm doing wrong

Droopy Dick had a similar problem in THIS THREAD which Mike O sorted out.

In fact I found the answer so useful, I printed it off and now keep it with the Mapsource manual etc.

I find that I quite often use Autoroute when looking in Mapsource. Especially in the UK when post codes are available.
