The Desierto F fairing on the F650GS (Twin) fitted yesterday, has 3 major components the black metal base frame work, the black plastic wrap around Fairing which are both fixed. Then there is the tinted upper perspex screen.
the screen lifts up and down and tilts whilst up or down!
here are some pictures taken today!
Screen up and upright.
screen up and tilted fully back, it can be tilted and held anywhere between these points!
you can see the design line which is the low setting as follows. in this position it also tilts back and forward to where it suits you!
from this side view you can see the slight, curve, lip that aids wind deflection.
another big benefit is the gap/spoiler between the black plastic and perspex screen which reduces pressure turbelence around your lid.
here is the inside view of the control mechanism which you can see is two dials each side.
To sum up here it is on my F650 I rode it today in the Rain with fully extended in the summer I will drop it down and also see what effect the tilt has if you look at the black plastic lower section it has a small beak which compliments the beak of the bike, compared to my previouse large GIVI screen the turbelence to my Lid is dramaticaly less.
I think its.................
