Hi
I'm just keen to know whether this is something that needs addressing urgently, or at my next service.
Symptom - only occurs when the bike is started from cold, when the throttle is blipped (at a standstill) I hear a squeek from the front of the engine. It sounds like a dry metal on metal noise and co-incides with the torque twisting of the engine.
After riding for a couple of minutes it disappears and does not return until re-starting the engine from cold once again.
My guess is that it's an engine mount that's somehow allowing movement around a metal to metal contact, and which 'nips up' when warm.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
Paul G
PS Please, no ABS suggestions....!
