HI,
I would be greatfull for any advise on my recently acquired 1150gsa,
first love the bike she had 83k miles and now showing 86k running well, I aim to keep her awhile and eventually do a Restoration, to start all over again, my questions are:
1 When I bought bike, ABS switched off, the original blue rim front wheel was given to me with bike but it has loose spoke's, I will have that re set comes with abs ring. Bike is fitted with a gs front wheel no abs ring. looking under tank all seems to be there and when ignition is switched on there is a continuous click until I press the ABS button on right hand bar that seems to stop click until next time ign is turned on from stop. No abs light light up on clocks, how could the abs be dis connected.
2 I would like to obtain a spare gear box, mine shows 6 gears in gear indicator, would any gear box from 1150 series engines fit or was GS GSA different.
Sorry for long drawn out questions, but help and or advise will be much appreciated.
Regards
Paul
