Wondering if anyone can help out here - here is the story so far.....
Replaced slave cylinder for clutch the other week (Thanks for the help on that one) and then decided to do a few other bits - bike is 62k so needs a bit of TLC every winter !
Anyway, replaced fuel filter and found a few studs were shagged so sorted that out. I think I might have put the filter in the wrong way and then tried to start it - no lights for gear indicator and no fuel level showing. I took it apart changed the filter round and same thing happened. After a bottle of beer decided it might be the breather pipes so took it apart and then changed those over - same result.
My thinking is fuel pump but these are expensive so thought I'd ask first !
Lesson learnt here is don't put a jerry can of fuel in the tank as you have to suck it out again
Any help appreciated on this - option 2 is I take a match to thing or visit a BMW dealer with my credit card.
