Hello fellow ‘Tossers’

Can anyone help please … I have an opportunity to buy a set of little used OEM Showa’s for my 2003 GSA. The shocks are from a 2005 model … is it a simple unbolt off bolt on, or are the mounts different?

The answer is yes, if the 2005 was an 1150. To satisfy yourself, take a look at the realoem.com tool and it will tell you for sure though.

Caveat: GSA & GS shocks are different lengths.

Yes, got that one … they are GSA shocks I am buying … although to be honest I could do with the bike being lower … but then I would have to change side/centre stand … so now I am in the market for a slightly lower seat - or maybe a standard Sargent for a GSA - cheers Oblertone
