1200 GS new clutch?

went out with my mate on the weekend for a spin an he found his clutch was sliping in 5th he has been told it may be the oil seal leaking oil onto the clutch, does any one know how much it would cost for this job to be done? the bike is a 55 plate with 5000 miles on the clock.

4 figures if it's going to a dealer - the back's got to come off the bike. I'd buy shares in tie wraps if I were you.

hand guards arnt snagging the clutch slightly making it grab, v common problem (they twist around slightly).
