1200GS SE

MGJ,that looks like a seriously useful tool:thumb..what more could you want?

Not much to be honest it reminds me of my Husky 610 and Hypermotard just a bit more growen up, love it.

So much fun, for not that much money, an R1 now cost £11'000 makes it look cheap in my eyes.

BMW are really trying...

This sounds like a very attractive idea and should stimulate sales - and VERY cheap bycomparison with France. I don't think it has arrived here yet.

Will get some phots up soon. Like the idea of the Special edition sticker.....maybe Black 1200 with Grey SPECIAL EDITION to match the seat?:thumb

Nice to get some positive initial interest :thumb2
Black "R1200" with Silver "SPECIAL EDITION" letters in reflective vinyl-no problem,I'm also thinking of Black numbers and Black letters,I should have some samples available soon and will then add this item to my website shop.

Nice, would have to be black maybe with SE in a highlight colour ?

As I said to Richie..........

I really can't see whats so special about it, spoked wheels, white paint etc
It's just good BMW marketing to shift more GS's:comfort

I saw an SE at SLM the other day on the way to work.

Very underwhelmed,to be honest, though I loved the 1150 GSA sat outside in black-first one I've seen in the flesh, just like Chad's.

Very nice bike.

Nice looking bike:thumb2
My step father is very tempted by one of these-my mother will kill him :D

Imagine a sticker for the tank that looked like the pic below but read "Special Edition" instead of Adventure........................coming soon ;)

R1200%20tank%20with%20ADVENTURE%20word.bmp

I would like some "Special Edition" stickers to go on my '08 GSA:augie

Seems I have all the "Special Additions" already fitted!:beerjug:

SE

Hi All,

Each to their own but things ive noticed on the SE, I have recently changed from an 08GS to 09GSA and how you personalise your bike is of course something you want to do but:

This is what I changed on my GS

New GSA screen
Headers
Can
Seat (Sageant)

What I added

H&B bars
Fender extender
Handguard extenders
Baglux tankcover
Beak
Break pedal extender
Touretech headlight cover and beak

I paid £11,800ish for my GSA so £400 more than an SE and all i have changed is the seat, headers, can, Touretech headlight cover and reflector and Handguard extenders off my GS and added:

fender extender

If i had an se i would still wants

Crash Bars
lights
screen
footbrake extender

Things that are all standard on the GSA as well as getting the bigger fuel tank.

just my 2p worth but it will be interesting how much the SE troop spend on "other extras"

Loos nice in white tho :thumb2

All very true but I don't want an ADV, I've had one.

But of course your right I will still spend loads on it.

Pre production stickers are here, in these pics the "R1200" is in standard Black vinyl and the "Special Edition" is in Black reflective vinyl, I'm away on a family holiday next week so I'll add them to the site on my return.

For owners of vario panniers (or any other panniers really) we have the "stealth chevron" in black reflective vinyl, very inconspicuous, black by day but light up the same as all reflective vinyls at night, just testing the water with this one :nenau

Tyres

Just noticed that the photos of MGJ's bike has Metzlers on it but the 2 shots of a showroom bike has the conti's as what appears to be factory fitment - choice perhaps?
