1300 rs mirrors

I had a test ride on the 1300rs yesterday liked the ride a lot infact I paid a deposit on one I found the screen bad. Which I knew it would be but I found the mirrors very poor for visability. Found it hard to adjust them to get the rear view of traffic that I am used to on my 1250 rs. They didn’t seem to have the adjustment and are very stiff to swivel has anyone found the same I have ordered the blind spot detection mirrors which is what I wanted. But would still like to be able to adjust the mirrors more

thanks for your input , i found them extremely tight to move found i was putting too much pressure on them and that they would snap, looking online found quite a few people complaining about them , did you find they were tight to move into position if so have they
slackened off at all and give you full movement to get a good rear view , i like the 1300 rs but did not feel right with the rear vision through the mirrors so it put me off

I found the mirrors on my 1250RS to be far worse than my 1250GS I had before, but I have got used to them and now move my body to compensate if needs be. You can get mirror extension mounts for the 1250RS so maybe they're available for the 1300 too?

dont think there are any available fitments for the 1300 mirrors , like i said my 1250 rs mirrors are fine but the stalk on the 1250 rs is adjustable aswell as the mirrors i think the 1300 stalk is fixed also there will be wiring to sort out on the 1300 with the blind spot mirrors , i might have another test ride , has anyone got one of the 1300 rs and have the mirrors slackened off any to allow more adjustment thanks

I guess is a response to the mirrors on the 1250RS folding at a certain speed even when adjusted as per manufactures advice. Barend mirrors

ive had no problems with the mirrors on my 1250rs at any speed, i have had another test on the 1300rs and found i can get away with the mirrors and can get a decent rear view i think it is because they are a bit smaller than my 1250 i will get used to them , ive ordered my new bike supposed to be coming this week , thought i would have had it today , they are saying friday , hope so dont want to wait much longer

At a 115/125mph in Germany they started to come inwards slightly. So I kept bellow that speed

not to sure if you can tighten up the friction device in the mirror mount never looked generally some kind of spring thing !!
