I’ve bought a heated rear comfort seat for my 1300GS, mine came without heated seats so doesn’t have the wiring or software enabled. If I buy an ezcan Mojave, will I be able to connect the seat to this? Will the seat be able to be operated via its own 3 position switch or will it only work when the heated grips are on? The connector has 4 wires, how would I identify which ones to connect to the ezcan?
My front seat is also a heated one, if I connect this to the ezcan, I assume it will activate when the grips are on as I have no way of switching the seat on independently.
I did ask these questions via the contact page on the Hex website but didn’t get a reply.

Assuming you're sorted on this, just for future reference:
  1. heated seat with ezCAN can currently only operate by mimicking heated grip states (i.e. won't use the OEM seat button).
  2. You need to find the highest output wire (usually included in the documentation of the seat) + the ground wire and connect that to the ezCAN output. Generally, heated items have different wires for different intensity levels and a ground wire. That way it connects directly to an OEM output. e.g. green is low setting, orange is medium and red is high with a black ground wire. In that example, you'll connect the red and black wire to the ezCAN 12V and ground wires on the pigtail and plug it into an ezCAN output.
  3. You could set it up as a light pair with no features enabled to control it independently, but that's a bit of a process, I think they have a FAQ on that.
